Space marine armor shouldn't have the same biotic resistance ME armor gets. IIRC, in the first game some armor mods allowed resistance to biotic or tech powers due to "physics threshold" or something like that. It seems like in the second game that not all armor has this built in as only some enemies receive bonus health for armor (assuming we aren't talking about insanity). I assume this physics threshold function carried over and was made more potent for balance issues. I see no reason to believe SM armor would have mods like those, and while the sheer mass of the armor would provide resistance to powers like pull, I shouldn't receive the same benefits as modded ME armor..
